The ImageCOM is a brand new microfilm writing device. Designed for a multi unit high quality government application to archive secret engineering drawings the ImageCOM is now available to the general market. It is very small due to there being no integrated PC. In addition the rotating mirror optics, laser and camera have been designed to produce one of the best quality digital microfilm print qualities on the market, all in greyscale too. A 300 million pixel image produces a 12,000 dpi resolution which equates to a 400dpi image in normal microfilm resolution terms.
The ImageCOM can use conventional camera film as well as special autopos and negative microfilm:
- Positive and negative microfilm
- Windows operating system
- 400dpi resolution
- Print in Greyscale
- All cleaning can be done by the operator
- Up to 36 x A4 images can fit into one 35mm frame
