The ambient hand viewers do not use mains electricity and therefore make for instant viewing of microfiche and aperture cards with available light source. The eye piece is just aimed at the nearest available light (i.e. a window or ceiling light) and the information is read easily. The readers combine top quality optics in a compact, portable, functional design. They fit in a pocket for use whenever and wherever you need them. Easy to handle and use. Clear, sharp images every time. Rugged, durable construction for long trouble free performance. Models are available with their own light source for using under all conditions.
The AV1 is available with either a 15X or 20X lens. The 15X lens is suitable for 24 reductions fiche or jackets and the 20X lens for film reduced at larger reduction ratios (i.e. COM fiche or 40X Technical Publications). Please specify which lens you require.
