The ABR2000 Analogue COM Reader Printer is ideal for low-volume print applications. It is a compact and quiet desktop unit and is energy-efficient. With it's 'power-saving' non-print position, the unit can be used as both a COM microfilm reader or by a flip-of-the switch, activate the print engine making it one of the most economical reader printers in the market today. The dry micro-toning system provides high-quality prints every time and has options of an 18-36x zoom lens or a selection of image rotation lenses for portrait images.
THE ABR2000 can print continuously 'up-to' 5 x A4 pages per minute and comes complete with an organic photoconductor drum capable of producing in excess of 30,000 prints before the need to change. With it's disposable toner cartridges it makes the ABR2000 the most economical COM reader printer in the world today. Options of a line cursor, manual 16mm roll film attachment and bimode kit gives the ABR2000 the flexibility of printing from either negative or positive images.
Zoom Lens The ABR2000's 18-36x zoom lens provides maximum magnification ease and versatility on landscape images without the need to change lenses. This lens permits both the viewing and printing of all landscape images and addresses most common COM film magnifications. A smooth operation zoom dial conveniently located just below the screen ensures fast viewing and printing at any magnification from 18 through 36x magnifications.
Conventional Prism Lenses The option of a range of standard 'plug-in' image rotation lenses turns the ABR2000 from being solely a COM reader printer to accommodate portrait image viewing and printing by a simple image rotation feature using an optical prism.
Integral Fiche Carrier The ABR2000 comes fully fitted with a fiche carrier, which permits the viewing of COM & Source Fiche and Jackets. The upper glass automatically opens when the fiche carrier is moved to the front of the unit allowing easy insertion of these microforms.
Optional 16mm Manual Roll Film Kit When the need to access open spool 16mm film is required an optional simple 'slot in' manual roll film attachment is available and is ideal for the 'occasional' use of roll film in conjunction with one of the prism lenses.
Bimode Printing Option The bimode printing kit may be installed allowing the user to replace the simple imaging unit and substitute with a positive one for printing from positive microfilm images.
Line Cursor Option When the need arises to read lines of COM fiche where the text is very small or close together the optional line cursor acts as a ruler to highlight the desired lines of text for easy reading.
