The unique 456-HP and HPR are half page portable readers that are ideal for genealogists due to their very small size and ease of portability. The 456-HPR is very unique as it is probably the smallest 35mm reader available.
456-HP: Ideal for fiche/jackets and aperture card viewing. It's 24x magnification is ideal for the viewing of half an image at a time due to its half page (216mm (W) x 140mm(H)) screen.
This portable reader is very small and therefore easy to carry. Has optional vehicle mounting brackets for service engineers on the road and comes standard with 12v DC cord for power from a cigarette lighter and/or rechargeable battery pack. All other times powered by optional mounted transformer box for use in very excessive ambient light conditions and optional Extension Hood for use in conditions where ambient light in prevalent.
